www.everywoman.com is the largest online network of women in the UK. everywoman provides training, resources and support services for women in business (not just business owners but women in regular jobs). It sets out to help women achieve their aspirations and realise their business and career ambitions generally.

“Setting up your own business is something you can do for yourself”, says Laurie South, PRIME’s Chief Executive. “And it can provide you with a viable and interesting livelihood up to and sometimes beyond pension age.
“Age discrimination is unfortunately alive and well despite recent legislation. Older people’s own energy and enterprise has often come to the rescue. These case studies document many such examples.”

This Olderpreneur showcase has been organised by PRIME in conjunction with London Metropolitan University, which runs free courses especially designed to meet the needs of women over 50 who are thinking of becoming self-employed.
